This week SuperSport Park in Centurion will brim with excitement and energy as the race organisers prepare for the arrival of 25 000 participants.
Our brand ambassadors will encourage you to ‘FindYourWingz’ so that you too can be an active and positive agent of change in the community at large.
But time to enter the SPAR Women’s Challenge (Pretoria leg) is running out! Entries for both the 5km and 10km race will still be open at SuperSport Park from 30 July to 3 August between 10:00 and 18:00. You will immediately get your race number, a t-shirt, foam peak cap and a copy of My Race magazine.
If you have entered online, please bring your proof of payment to SuperSport Park in Centurion and collect all of the above from 30 July to 3 August between 10:00 and 18:00 or on race day between 08:00 and 12:00. Entries are limited to 25 000 participants – but remember that no entries will be allowed on race day!
The SPAR Grand Prix series top runners will once again try to up their race time, but the challenge is still there to ‘FindYourWingz’ and beat them to the finish line! For all your effort and achy muscles you will know that your effort has paid off and all the beneficiaries of the charities will applaud you. But your effort will also be rewarded with a medal and a chock-full goodie bag if you reach the finish line.
Anyone present on race day stands a chance to win a Suzuki Celerio. Participants must visit the Suzuki stand to collect a lucky draw ticket. If you are not there, you will not be eligible for the prize and miss out on the option of running in and driving out of SuperSport Park!
Following the race there is an outstanding line up of some of the most popular acts of the moment – Jan Bloukaas, Vernon Barnard, Martin Bester, Denim and Willem Botha.
Please take note of the rules when bringing your own refreshments. No gas ‘braais’, glass, alcohol, cool drink cans or tins will be allowed inside SuperSport Park – only plastic bottles and containers.
Charity begins at home, so if you haven’t done so already, enter right away and do your part in helping others find their wings!
Traffic flow in the Centurion area, around the stadium and on route, will be affected for the duration of the race (14:00 to 17:00). Tshwane Metro Police will do traffic control. In case of an emergency on 4 August, please contact the Venue Operation Centre on .
